Read that the issue could be a bottle neck so overclocked the cpu from 4ghz to about 4.5.
I reinstalled my drivers, still had issues so did a fresh install of windows and redid the drivers. Monitor is a 35inch Benq 2560 x 1080, bought it to replace the 2 x 27 5xxx x 1080 setup I had with the Radeon. And this is at low resolution, 2560 x 1080 both at 60 and 144hz. So I can't get anything above 25fps in any game I tried this weekend, far cry 5, rise of the tomb raider, Kingdom Come Deliverance. On one of the benchmarks I ran this weekend I got higher results with the R9 then the 1080ti. Gpu is an EVGA Geforce GTX 1080Ti SC2 Gaming 11GB model. Cooling is water for the cpu and stock/air for the gpu. I bought this card last summer when the Rift was on sale, upgraded from a Radeon R9 380 which I bought at the same time as the i7 4790k, asus H97-Pro Gamer LGA 1150 intel H97, Corsair 16gb (2x8GB) DD3 1600. Morning been working on this for the last day or so and getting a little frustrated hoping someone here has a solution or at least a start.
